J M Wellington Jewellers

Wellington Jewellers are a family jewellers founded in 1895 by Charles Hamilton Wellington in Totnes, Devonshire. Charles himself trained as a goldsmith and silversmith in Henley, Oxfordshire. The shop in Totnes would then be handed down to his son Claude. It has since remained a family business through the years since relocating to Berkshire. During the 1970's both side of the Wellington family were involved in the establishment and development of the shop as it is today. In recent times, the store was run for a number of years by his son, Mr Wellington Senior who ran the store up until the late 1990's, a time during which the shop merged to become Wellington's. The most recent change of ownership came in 2005, a period since which Mr Wellington Junior has owned and run the business and overseen the successful launch of the Marlow store. Wellington Jewellers range features everything from bespoke engagement rings and watches, to wedding bands tailored to suit your individual style.
