The award-winning studio now comprises a skilled team of more than twenty with extensive experience and market-leading skills working on projects around the world, yet it remains true to its founding principles: that good design adds value and that memorable and beautiful solutions are based on a clear understanding of function, context, budget and time.Knight Architects was founded in 2006 to specialise exclusively in the world of bridge and infrastructure design. Receiving ever-increasing worldwide attention we have helped deliver some of the most important UK and International projects. Our unique experience and expertise lets us serve our clients from inception through to completion of projects of all scales, ranging from £0.35m to £1bn.Our approach is tailored to the specific needs and requirements of each project and client. Designs can be iconic or what we call the ‘beautiful ordinary’, always appropriate to the setting and aspirations of the project. Increasingly our clients ask us to lead stakeholder engagement, ranging from statutory bodies to the public. Our knowledgeable and confident presentation abilities are backed up by a range of in house capabilities ranging form Virtual Reality to photo-realistic computer imagery.
