Knutsford Iyengar Yoga Centre

The Centre was opened in 2006 by Margaret Carter, an Iyengar Yoga teacher with many (many!) years’ experience. It is an approved and affiliated centre of Iyengar Yoga (UK), the regulatory body of Iyengar Yoga in the UK. We opened in August 2006 as a venue in the Knutsford area, dedicated to the teaching of Iyengar Yoga. Over the years the number of teachers has grown, but our dedication to share the benefits of Iyengar Yoga hasn’t changed. The Centre, situated in a quiet location, was used for many years by the Crosstown Women`s Institute. Before opening in 2006, we refurbished it into a light and airy yoga hall, with a rope wall, renovated wooden floor and central heating. We get so many comments about how wonderfully calm and tranquil the place is, and we hope you’ll also learn to love it as a place to destress from the pressures of everyday life.
