A shopping trip to Exeter or Taunton, is just a drive away. Axminster and Lyme Regis, both boast establishments run by celebrity chefs as well as other good restaurants. Fishing trips are available out of Axmouth, which is a 15 minute drive, and Lyme Regis which Is 20 minutes. Walking in the beautiful countryside, or along the famous Southern Coastal Path. We have a village pub close by,(staggering distance) a Post Office/local shop, and a choice of super markets a short drive away. Lakehayes is a smallholding; we have Sheep, chickens and pigs at certain times of the year, grow our own vegetables and fruit. In 2012 we intend to get the old cider press up and running.
