Fascinated by the theatre from an early age, I was drawn to the use of makeup as a means of highlighting emotion and mood as well as accentuating a model or performer's natural beauty and attributes.

As I grew older I dabbled with graphics and design, gaining an appreciation of when to highlight key details in a piece of work as well as a superior colour sense and an understanding of how a finished product will look in print.

These varied interests naturally led to me training as a makeup artist, combining my love of expression and design with my skills and natural abilities as an artist to create a synthesis that is both perfect for the model or a client as well as geared to fulfilling the specific criteria of any brief I am presented with.
