The size of the exterior belies the expansive interior with its original Victorian features and we have since been restoring them to something resembling their former glory. It has been a labour of love, not counting blood, sweat and tears, and we have been assured by our guests that our efforts have not been in vain.We are situated at the edge of the City within easy walking distance of all amenities and local places of interest such as Pictavia - an exhibition of Pictish sculpture, and we overlook Brechin Cathedral with its historic round tower, one of only two in Scotland. Angus has much to offer the visitor, here in Brechin we are within easy driving distance of the Glens and the East Coast and are surrounded by high quality golf courses. We are also roughly halfway between Aberdeen and Dundee and both these cities are well worth a visit for their unique charms.We serve a traditional Scottish breakfast, even a continental breakfast should you prefer something lighter. We also serve kippers and the famous Arbroath Smokies on request. All our produce is sourced from local suppliers and can be traced to farms in Angus and other counties in Scotland.
