Little Firs Day Nursery

Our Main Aim is to provide an enriched and enabling environment in which children are able to thrive and grow and develop into independent and confident children that are able to meet their full potential and become learners for life, ensuring they are ready for school. Our Mission Statement is to provide a happy, stimulating and secure environment, which follows the Every Child Matters Outcomes, and the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child to ensure that our children are healthy, safe, enjoy and achieve whilst supporting emotional well-being. Furthermore, Parents are the most important support for children’s development and to support early learning in our setting, we must work in close partnership with our children's parents and carers. This helps us to support the children’s well-being and this is important as it affects how children learn. Children learn best when they feel secure, relaxed, happy and confident, whilst enjoying and being thoroughly engrossed in what they are doing.
