Love : Walk : Play

My name is Darren Ferris. I have been caring for animals all my life (over 40 years to be exact). These have been, in the main, dogs & cats but also hamsters, gerbils, rabbits. I even had a pet Magpie when I was a boy that was unable to fly so she lived with us & was as much a part of our family as were my siblings & other animals. I live in Saltdean with my partner & our two gorgeous Jack Russell Terriers by the name of Pip & Arty who come out with me on some of my walks. They are very sociable and also volunteer their time as working therapy dogs for Sussex Caring Pets.

Besides caring for my own pets over the years I have cared for countless others for friends & family. It's something that I enjoy thoroughly & comes quite naturally to me. I have worked for a large corporate company for many years & then worked for a well-known airline in a management role. I am also a qualified hairdresser. These roles never really worked for me but I am glad I do what I do now.
