Making a wedding cake is an adventure: there's the idea gathering, the flavour testing, finalising the design; then the big bake, the intricate decorating; all culminating in the tense delivery and set up at the venue - it's quite a journey!

All the action from consultation to construction takes place in my home kitchen in Wokingham, Berkshire. And when all the decks are cleared I also love writing about a recent adventure I may have had or just about things in the cake and bake world I have found inspiring.
