Based in Keighley, West Yorkshire, MT Decorators covers all areas of Yorkshire and beyond completing industrial and commercial work to the high standard we pride ourselves on. I started my appreticeship in 1994 at 16 years old working for a large local painting and decorating company learning my trade, and completed my apprenticeship at 19. After doing so i moved to a large building company to better my career and joined a 15 strong team of painter and decorators to do the painting and decorating of a wide range of contracts such as new builds, schools, hostpitals, pubs etc. I soon became a valuble member of the team and at the age 22 was employed as a foreman to take charge of the painting and decorating side of some of the contracts. This involved managing a team of 5-6 men to ensure contracts were completed efficiently and to the highest of standards. At the age of 25 and with the knowledge i had picked up on the way i decided to start my own business and have never looked back since. After a year of going at it alone i decided to take on an apprentice and also another qualified painter and decorator later down the line as the workload increased. I am now in a good position to take on large or small jobs, local or working away with a team i fully trust to give my business the great reputation it has and deserves.
