Moderno Furniture is a rare breed, an independent and unique furniture retailer, which is owned by the people whom run it. There is over 20 years of furniture expertise within the staff and a different philosophy to most furniture outlets, we don't pay any commission, we don't sell warranties or insurances and there is no pressure selling, just come in and browse around at your leisure. Italian coffee and home baked cakes are available in our new coffee shop. Opened in October 2008 - A homeware showroom and lifestyle store with unique furniture offering a large selection of mirrors and accessories all under one roof. We are constantly sourcing furniture and accessories from the UK and around the world. The Moderno experience is one that has delighted customers from the day the homeware showroom opened, with home deliveries on a weekly basis to customers from Darlington, Hartlepool, Durham, Chester le Street, Newcastle and of course Gateshead.
