Hello, I'm Emma Haywood Curzon, I'm a freelance designer / illustrator / dog companion and I am living the dream in Tamworth, Staffordshire. I love design - I can't think of anything else I'd rather do and never have. After getting my BA Hons in Visual Communication I went straight into design and have clocked up more than 15 years experience, working in a wide range of disciplines, the last eight of which I've been working for myself on a freelance basis. So it's safe to say I know what I'm doing.

In 2006, after working as head designer for a high street retailer, I took the plunge and thought I'd try working for myself. This has been both challenging and rewarding, the freelance life certainly keeps you on your toes and is not for the faint hearted. Over the years my job has covered pretty much every aspect of design you can imagine, basically if you can print it or look at it on a website at some point I'll have designed one.
