New Day Osteopathy

It involves diagnosing and treating conditions that are created from the disturbance of the body's framework and moving parts. Particular emphasis is placed on the structural and mechanical problems of the body and treatment is therefore focussed on various body tissues - muscles, ligaments, joints and nerves. The aim is to correct any mechanical dysfunctions by stimulating the body's own natural healing process. All osteopaths are registered with the General Osteopathic Council.

They have intense medical training of up to 5 years and are highly skilled in palpation (touch). Using this skill a number of manual techniques are used to treat underlying causes of pain and discomfort. The range of techniques used depend on the condition and the requirements of each individual patient. The aim is to not only address the tissues causing the pain or discomfort but address the underlying cause to prevent its return.
