Newbold Optician is a traditional, independent, community optician. It was established in Market Drayton in December 1936 as part of a small independent group centred around Newcastle under Lyme. The Newbold family sold the practice to their manager (Arthur Antliff) in 1968, and the practice moved to the present premises in March 1973.
