Mary and Trevor now work alongside managers Holly Oakey and Ian Lafford. Their daughter Holly had been helping out part-time from a young age and became the full-time Business Manager in 2008 after graduating from Oxford Brookes University with a first class honours degree in Business and Management. Ian Lafford began an apprenticeship with Oakey’s at 16 years old and became Workshop Manager in 2007. Each one of the four mechanics that make up the workshop team are fully qualified, nominated MOT testers with extensive diagnostic training. In order to stay at the forefront of vehicle services in the area, great investment has gone into extending the workshop in 2011 and Oakey’s have recently in January 2015 acquired the premises next-door providing the business with a brand new waiting area, office, training & meeting room and toilets. The outside space has also allowed the car parking area to be almost doubled in size with a new security gate to keep vehicles safe overnight.
