Today Tom (GDC 114616) is the prize-winning dentist and Clinical Director at Open and leads a friendly team with his wife / hygienist Henriette. Sixteen years ago Tom was development engineer at Dyson: Today his engineering past gives him an excellent eye for detail and a can-do attitude to solving problems. Outside of work Tom loves to snowboard and he's busy getting his little one - Mikie - onto his first skis. He also took the Postgraduate Restorative Year Course in 2009 with the renowned specialist dentist and professor Dr Michael Wise of Wimpole Street, who has now retired.

This provided Tom with a wide practical grounding in all aspects of complex dental restorative and maintenance treatments. Henriette (GDC 183752) is the multi-award winning hygienist who is the other half of Open Dental Islington's leadership team. Widely popular with patients - for her kind and straight talking approach - she uses the gentlest methods to get our members' gums healthy.
