Palmer Timber has been supplying Hardwood and Softwood Timber to an extensive range of industries throughout the UK for nearly 100 years. Our investment in good quality woodworking equipment, as outlined in our Processes section, together with our focus on supplying our customers' needs, ensures that we provide a first class service. Our Panel Products Division is a distributor / stockist of MDF, XyloCleaf TSS Panels, Melamine Faced Boards, Chipboard, Plywood, OSB and Decorative Veneered Panels.

We also offer a bespoke cutting and machining service on all our Panel Products. The 13 acre site was originally a brick works with its own canal basin, the blue engineering bricks were produced from the "marl" (clay) found on the site. When the clay was worked out the land was bought by William Henry Palmer who set up a sawmill dealing in home grown hardwoods sometime around the start of the 20th century.
