Plan A Architects

Plan A Architects is a new architectural practice focused on providing clients with the highest level of design and project management. The practice is based in Berkhamsted (north of London) and was established by director Matthew Smith in 2010. We believe that good design will always add value to a project. We enjoy engaging our clients in conversation in order to deliver their unique project, within budget and on programme. We endeavour to understand your needs with the aim of translating these into a functional yet beautiful building. Our main strength is providing a full architectural design service to private clients wishing to refurbish or extend their existing houses. We have the experience and knowledge to deliver a client's project from conception to construction on site. Typically we will be employed to provide full architectural services, acting as the client's representative and arranging the appointment of other consultants to the design team.
