It comes in all shapes and sizes, with either a matt, textured or polished finish. Although higher maintenance natural stone gives you a great finish. You can go from slate to travertine, with several different finishes. Using all tile types the bathroom benefits from both wall and floor tiling mainly in the wet areas, but full wall and floor is very popular. In the kitchen you can tile as little as the splashback area up to full walls. As well as the walls, it is very popular to tile the floor, making it hygienic and easy to clean up spillages.
