Quay School of Theatre Dance

Our aim is to give children and adults of all ages and abilities the opportunity to learn and enjoy a wide range of dance styles. We hold lessons six days a week so whether you aspire to be a professional dancer one day, or simply want to keep fit and have fun, we should have the right class/es for you. We have experienced and inspiring teachers who are committed to passing on their in-depth knowledge and passion for dance. Our teachers are qualified with The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (I.S.T.D.) and hold DBS checks. The school offers pupils the chance to take exams, attend annual summer schools and appear in shows; as well as taking part in well-structured but fun classes. Dance lessons help to improve and develop a number of skills and qualities. Children are encouraged to learn in a non-competitive and supportive atmosphere. Our aim is for pupils to grow in confidence and to develop poise, co-ordination and social skills whilst learning basic life principles such as good manners, behaviour, discipline and self-respect.
