Radio Cabs

We are Poole and Dorset's largest taxi company, handling over 500,000 journeys every year. Radio Cabs was formed in 1967 by a group of five taxi drivers who saw the advantage of embracing radio technology and the pooling of resources so as to enhance the efficiency from their vehicles. Since these small beginnings we have stayed at the fore-front of modern technology and have grown to be the largest taxi in Dorset.

Our fleets control system utilises data and voice dispatching is now carried out by a state of the art computer dispatch system, handling over 6.5 million radio messages per year.
