Before I had my children, I was a DTP software trainer in Clapham Common, London. I taught magazine publishers from The Times, graphic designers and artists from Disney - even in the House of Lords once! Teaching is something that I enjoy and I realised very quickly after the birth of my first child that my true passion was in the care and development of children. Before this, I had been a project director at a market research company in Barnes, London (and before this, in central London), an industry that I had worked in for more than 15 years.

In 2010, Emma and I saw an opportunity to grow the already well-established and renowned childminding business that she had created, with the possibility of growing further as a nursery in the future. This also meant that I got to see my own children a lot more, who I would miss on my long commutes to and from London in my previous role. We haven't looked back since then!
