Richmond School

Richmond School is a community comprehensive school situated on the edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, based in the market town of Richmond. There are approximately 1470 students on roll with 250 in the Sixth Form. We are delighted that a recent Ofsted visit (January 2017) confirmed that we continue to be a good school, with leadership and management, and behaviour and safety, all deemed as ‘Good’. This is particularly pleasing because the inspection took place under the new, tougher, criteria. Our goal now is to push on towards becoming a truly outstanding school. We are confident that we will achieve this and have recently reshaped our Vision and Mission Statement for the School in order to demonstrate a commitment to a shared responsibility for the future success of all students.
