WE ARE a team of time-served joiners, led by Mike Roach. Mike has run his business for 42 years, 39 of them from the current premises in Marsh Barton, Exeter. The Roach Carpenters team has become renowned for the hand finished quality of its bespoke joinery - a reputation earned through servicing the needs of tradesmen, architects and the general public over many years.

Mike Roach is that rare being in the 21st Century - a traditional craft-driven businessman with a passion for quality. He still offers apprenticeships and leads from the front with a practical hands on approach - insisting on exacting standards of workmanship. Odd sizes, skilled lathe work, liaison with conservation agencies on listed building restoration are all part of a day's work for this experienced team. The quality for which it has become known has led to an upsurge in demand for period joinery - mainly Georgian and Victorian. The Roach Carpenters team takes a deep pride in its work - and with every justification!
