Rossendale Physiotherapy

Our physiotherapists are registered with the Health & Care Professions Council and our clinic is registered with all major insurance companies. Patients may refer themselves to the clinic or may be referred by a doctor, solicitor, occupational health department or other allied health care professionals. Sarah qualified in 1984 and after gaining experience in the NHS, soon found that her own experiences in rowing drew her to the specialist interests of sports medicine. She was the physiotherapist for Rotherham Rugby Club before her move to Lancashire in 1988 where she initially continued her involvement in sport as the physiotherapist for Great Harwood Hockey Club and as a consulting physiotherapist to Sedgley Park Rugby Club. Sarah established the Rossendale Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries Clinic in 1989, moving to the current premises in 2010 and expanding her practise in the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal conditions.
