Animals Hospitalised Overnight We provide a secure and equipped facility for patients staying overnight. Rowlands Castle Veterinary Clinic is NOT a hospital and therefore there is not a duty nurse or veterinary surgeon on site overnight. Out of hours care is provided depending on the risk category of the patient. High Risk: A duty student nurse or qualified nurse will stay overnight at the practice. A duty vet will be on call if further assistance is required. Medium Risk: The animal will be checked at the end of the evening surgery and checked again the following day at 08:30am by a student or qualified veterinary nurse. Low Risk: The animal will be checked at the end of the evening surgery and checked again the following day at 08:30am by a student or qualified veterinary nurse.
