Educated at the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1996. He has worked in Lancashire and Shropshire for large, multi-disciplined forms before returning to Leicestershire in 2001. Martin deals with a range of matters including Sales, Valuations, Compulsory Purchase, Building Surveys, Planning & Development. He has served on the Council of the local branch of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers.
