Sarah Flower Medical Herbalist

I studied for my degree in Herbal Medicine at Middlesex University and qualified in 2003. The degree course took 4 years to complete and included a range of medical sciences, plant therapeutics and practical experience within a clinical setting. The degree at Middlesex University is accredited by the National Institute of Medical Herbalists (NIMH) which is the oldest body of practising Medical Herbalists in the world. I constantly update my knowledge by undertaking continuing professional development. This ensures that I can stay up to date with any new developments in the field of herbal medicine and that I continually increase my knowledge base. Like all NIMH members I adhere to a strict code of ethics and professional conduct. I am passionate about herbal medicine and I believe that it still has much to offer in the modern world. It remains important that people can access a variety of therapeutic disciplines to ensure that they can have choice and control over their healthcare.
