SB Costs

SB Costs is an expanding, progressive, client-focussed firm of law costs draftsmen based in Manchester. We were formed in response to the growing need for technically competent and knowledgeable law costs draftsmen. We know that each of our clients has different needs, and we tailor our legal costs services to meet those needs. We handle a wide range of legal costs work, including inter partes, Legal Aid, solicitor and own client and Court of Protection. We have experience of costs litigation in Courts up to and including the Supreme Court, and we have dealt with legal costs claims in matters ranging from low-value family cases through to seven-figure commercial litigation bills.

Unlike many firms of law costs draftsmen we actively support Legal Aid lawyers. Our Managing Director, Samantha Bagnall, is a Committee Member of the Association of Costs Lawyers' Legal Aid Group. Our clients are drawn from solicitors in private practice and those employed by corporations.
