A complete website (including up to 6 pages, lots of images, video, google map, contact form, SEO, google analytics and training on how to update it yourself) can cost as little as £400 with yearly costs of £53 for hosting and domain renewal. No VAT. You can add as many pages, products, blog posts as you like with no additional monthly charges. I can also offer a complete eCommerce shopping cart from £250. The websites I create have a content management system (CMS) that allows the website owner to have full control over their own website and has many benefits. Once the website has been set up, I give you a lesson on how to update it yourself and add more pages / blog posts. It is very simple to do and requires no skill and I also offer free online training. Of course if you would rather that I update it for you, I am happy to do this. I charge £20 an hour but I can charge as little as £5 for posting a new blog post / updating a page etc & can have a running tab for regular small changes.
