Seitou Ryu Karate Chelmsford

The club’s chief Instructor, Sensei Richard Hang Hong, has over 20 years experience in both traditional and sport karate and holds the rank of 4th Dan in Goju Ryu (Seiwakai & JKF Goju Kai) as well as a 4th Dan in Shotokan Karate. He is assisted by a team of fully qualified instructors and assistant instructors, all of whom are first aid trained and DBS checked. Beginners and advanced grades are welcome to come and train at any of our many training locations across Essex. We currently have over 200 members actively training each week. Seitou Ryu Karate® has something to offer everyone. Whether it is for recreation, life-protection, competition, or some other aspect, Seitou Ryu Karate® is the school of choice for the study of martial arts. Specialised courses in kata (forms), kumite (sparring) and Self Defence are held periodically throughout the year as well as an annual summer training camp.
