My name is Pam and I specialise in all wedding alterations and am now based in Nottingham. I have been a seamstress for over 30 years and I have a vast knowledge on couture and famous designer wedding dresses including: Hilary Morgan, True Bride, Ian Stuart, Ronald Joyce, Maggie Sottero, White Rose, Victoria Jane, Augusta Jones, Dessy and many more.

For 6 years I worked alongside the beautiful bridal shop 'Trousseaux', but moved to Nottingham in June this year. I was the only seamstress that Trousseaux used and I travelled to the shop to carry out alterations on dresses bought from there.

Most bridal shops have an in-house seamstress and generally charge more for this service. Because I am self employed my charges are reasonable and are the same no matter where I do them. It is important to find a seamstress who you can trust with your dress and have peace of mind that your dress will be altered by someone who has the experience to do a great job.
