Seymour Vets

Seymour Vets was started in 2006 by Richard Mitchell, Huw Peplow and Matthew Gopal. It was previously known as Munnings, Mitchell and Peplow, which was established in the mid-eighties by Nicholas Munnings. Having outgrown our previous premises at Seymour Cottage we moved to the Old Smugglers Inn in 2011. The newly renovated building has provided us with a bright, spacious, modern practice with the most up to date veterinary facilities. It has enabled us to further extend the services and products we offer. In 2012 we achieved veterinary hospital status. This is a standard set by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons; it involves providing additional facilities and protocols beyond that of general practice in order to investigate and treat more complex cases. Regular inspections by the RCVS ensure we meet all Core standards and General Practice standards set out in the RCVS practice standard scheme in addition to the specific hospital standards.
