Skeldale Veterinary Centre

We are based in a purpose built surgery which can offer a full range of services for your dogs, cats, farm animals, and horses, as well as your small furries. Our surgery in Thirsk is within easy reach of the A19, A168, and A1 which allows our vets to get out to calls quickly, and also means that we are easily accessible for most of Yorkshire and the North East. We are proud of our history and happy to support The World of James Herriot which offers visitors a unique insight into the fascinating life of the real James Herriot, Alf Wight. The museum is located at 23 Kirkgate in Thirsk, which is the old practice building and as such visitors can also see what a visit to Skeldale would have been like in the time of Alf Wight.
