South West Sash Windows

South West Sash Windows is essentially a one man operation, specialising in the renovation and overhaul of wooden sash windows. This includes everything from timber repairs to re balancing and draught proofing sash windows. The company was started by myself, James Egan, a qualified carpenter/joiner with over 30 years experience, following some time working for a national sash window company. In 2009 I saw an opening in the South West and Devon and Cornwall in particular, for a small local company with that 'personal' touch. Based in Plymouth, I'm ideally situated to cover all of Devon and Cornwall and sometimes get called into Somerset as well!

We are thrilled to have our beautiful 100 year old sash windows in working order again. The ground floor bay windows had been painted shut for at least 15 years; they now glide smoothly and the reduction in the draught from all the sash windows in the house has been substantial.
