After completing my full Chartered Institute of Management Accountant qualification in 2008 I have applied my learning in a variety of roles and industries. I have held numerous positions in accountancy roles over the past 17 years, including positions in Retail and Manufacturing sectors. I have been self-employed for the past four years, as a direct result I fully understand the demands of setting up your own business and making it successful. At the moment, my portfolio of clients includes contractors, subcontractors, electricians, hairdressers, decorators, railway engineers, landlords, consultancy firms and sports professionals to name but a few. As I am a limited company myself, I am able to be agile with my approach to providing my services to clients and eachclient is treated completely as an individual, not just another numbered firm on a corporate list. Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my children and my husband. I’d like to say I have an endless list of hobbies but anyone with young kids and their own business knows it doesn’t leave time for anything else.
