Suenos Guesthouse

It was during our travels to South America for our honeymoon, visiting Argentina and Chile for two months, and staying in a number of different types of accommodation that we decided to open our own guesthouse. We both have a passion for travel, and with Teresa's tourism background, and the desire to start a business together, we took the best bits from our trip, and so began the story of Suenos!

On our return home, we looked at numerous properties for sale in the Home Counties of Kent and Sussex, before finally deciding to stay near to Neil's home town in Southend- on - Sea, Essex in order to be confident in offering invaluable local knowledge to our guests.

Or aim was to restore the house to its former self, enhance its original features, and significantly improve the building and guest accommodation. We knocked down walls, built other walls, re-wired, re-plumbed, re-plastered and re-decorated to give a traditional contemporary look and feel to the house.
