Her guiding principle is that people have the strengths and resources to effect real change in their lives, when working in alliance with a sympathetic, empathic and attentive therapist. She works to build that strong alliance to allow her clients to realise their aims.She employs a range of evidence-based therapeutic methods that are individually tailored to help her clients find solutions to their problems and progress to the achievement of their goals. In every case the intention is to offer the fastest route to the desired outcome. Susan is committed to the fundamental principle of brief therapy: that the client rapidly achieves independence in the most cost-effective way.
