Talking Changes

My research concentrates particularly on issues surrounding subjectivity and power and since joining CASCADE in 2015 I have focused my work on children and young people in Local Authority care. I am particularly interested in how children's voices are represented in research, policy, and practice, and how their well-being is measured and understood. ​ I feel passionate about the opportunities Wales provides to think progressively about social issues and want to contribute to make our country the best place to grow up in the UK. I grew up in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, and now live in Cardiff with my partner and young son. My personal interests include pretentious films, pretentious books, and not-so-pretentious video games.
