1ST GEAR Driving School offers you "A safer and more cost effective value for money driving experience". Learning to drive can be a daunting experience, so we work hard to make it as easy as possible for you.

Fully qualified, Friendly, Patient, Experienced and Non smoker driving instructors. All 1ST GEAR Driving School - Bedford instructors are fully qualified by the DSA (Driving Standard Agency). You will find us relaxed and calm, with lots of patience and loads of enthusiasm to get you to drive well! We are very passionate about driving and see it as a great benefit to hold a UK driving licence. We try to provide comfortable and enjoyable lessons to make learning easier. We believe the more you can relax the more you can learn. And if you enjoy your lessons, you'll build up your confidence and your driving skills more quickly. We also believe that if you are not patient you should not be a driving instructor.
