The Powell family has been trading in Maldon since 1974 and we are now operating from our large store and garden centre at 85 - 87 High Street in Maldon, a picturesque, riverside town in an attractive corner of rural Essex.

A family run business you can trust, The Emporium is Maldon's largest independent High Street retailer selling a wide range of quality items at competitive prices, including furniture, homeware, gifts, pet and garden products. Our customers call us an Aladdin's Cave because of the huge stock of different products which change daily, weekly, monthly and seasonally!

Whilst the style of our store is deliberately old-fashioned in line with the appearance of Maldon's traditional High Street, the Powell family maintains a range of the latest products available.
