The Flower Story

Having loved flowers since I was little, I have been thinking about and plotting my floristry career for years. But things are never that simple, are they? In my 20s, I decided that a career in television was calling, and so I headed off in that direction. I had a wonderful creative time but my love of flowers never left me. In my spare time, I would be reading about flowers, growing them on my allotment and in my garden, and, if I ever went to a wedding or a smart hotel, I would be looking at the flowers and working out how they were put together.

And those thoughts got louder and louder until I decided the time was right and I had to go for it and change my career. I started doing flowers for friends and family weddings and discovered that I was pretty good at it. Over the years, I've done various courses and trained with some of the best florists in London.
