Started in 1993 and is an independent business privately owned by the proprietor Simon Mutton. The Mobile Carpet Showroom has successfully grown over more than 25 years developing in both domestic and commercial sectors. Simon Mutton recognised that in today's society many people find it difficult to find the time to visit crowded showrooms or busy high street stores when choosing carpets. Many elderly people find difficulty in getting out to a shop at all. Young couples hard at work all week find similar difficulty with both being able to fit in a visit to the shops - as do parents with young children. The concept of The Mobile Carpet Showroom was developed with this issue in mind - we come to you. A seven day a week service, with daytime and evening appointments available to suit you. At the heart of the company is our Renault Master vehicle. With a showroom length of almost 4.0 metres and an internal height of 2.15 metres this allows us to carry over 2000 carpet, vinyl and laminate samples. We have been told on many occasions that we have more choice than most shops.
