The Slow Home

The Slow Home is cabinet-making house. It designs and creates fine furniture, which can be any item of bepoke solid wood furniture, beautiful wooden jewellery boxes, solid wood cabinets and bespoke solid wood kitchens.

Traditional craftsmen took time to learn and hone their skills; quality came as a matter of course. As a designer-maker, I follow in these traditions, continuing the skills and quality achieved by taking time to get things right.

Since we learnt how to do things at great speed, the joy having one thing of true quality has been replaced by the frequent gratification of buying lots of things cheaply. Through The Slow Home, I aim to reverse that trend and cordially invite you along for the ride.
