The Southdown Clinic

The Southdown Clinic was established in 1997 to create an opportunity to offer both medical and complementary therapies 'under one roof'. Their aim was to combine and integrate the principles of conventional and complementary medicine, on the basis that no one system has the whole answer to every medical problem. Great emphasis is placed on preventative medicine as a way of maintaining good health after treatment. We have over 15 qualified professional practitioners working within the clinic, several of whom are multi-disciplinary.

Of the complementary medical therapies practised at the clinic some are over 3000 years old. Although many of these treatments differ in the way they treat symptoms, they all view the practice of complementary medicine as helping the individual organism achieve its natural harmony and balance.
