Therapeutic Treatments

Treatments are tailored to individual needs, using a combination of Massage, acupressure and aromatherapy or reflexology. Treatments last for approximately 1 hour and cost £35. An additional charge of £10 is made for the initial treatment to cover assessment and consultation. Chinese literature from 3000 BC shows massage was considered as one of the key elements for complete health. Hindu writings 1800BC state that massage was used for weight reduction, sleep aid, relaxation and fatigue relief. Massage works directly on the muscular, nervous, circulatory and lymphatic systems. Acupressure is an ancient healing art that uses the fingers to apply pressure to key points on the body to stimulate the body’s natural self-curative ability. When pressure is applied to these points they release muscular tension, promote the circulation of blood and enhance the body’s life force to aid healing.
