Tom Archer Photography

During my youth I always had a flair for art. I loved drawing and sketching and you would always find me with a piece of paper and a pencil. After I left College I joined Essex Police and worked as an Officer on the beat for several years until I realised it wasn't what I wanted to do with my life.

I have always been passionate about travel and as soon as I left the Police I embarked on a big trip. I had recently been bought a digital SLR camera for Christmas and took that away with me. During my trip I realised how much I loved to photograph people and places and when I returned home two years later I knew it was what I wanted to do with my life.

I think my shared passions of Photography and Travel stem from the same place and that is my love of meeting and interacting with people and exploring new places. For me, this is the perfect job!
