Twizzles

Twizzles Dance School has been introducing children and adults to the joys of dance for over 30 years. In that time many hundreds of pupils have gone through their doors and some have gone on to achieve international success in dance competitions, whilst others are quite happy to enjoy their hobby as part of a healthy social life. Some former pupils are now members of the teaching staff and many who went to them as young children now take their own children to them, such is their enthusiasm for this most enjoyable of activities. Twizzles was founded in 1981 by local sisters Linda and Shirley Hughes, well-known former dance champions who enjoyed great success representing England in international dance championships. The school has grown steadily over the years until 2010 when it out-grew its former premises in Lostock and moved into much larger newly refurbished premises in the centre of Horwich.
