At UK Learner Driving School, our driving instructors, hold a full ADI Green Licence. This means that our driving instructors have passed the “ablity to instruct” exam. Many driving schools allow their driving instructors to instruct under a “pink PDI licence”. This means that the driving instuctor has not passed the “ability to instruct” exam. In fact, only 1 in 4 pink PDI licence holders pass the “ability to instruct” exam, and will never become a full qualified driving instructor.
