Wild At Heart Eco-Holidays

Wild at Heart was founded in 2008 by Deborah Benham (MSc, PhD), a marine biologist, animal behaviour expert, ecotourism specialist and accredited tour guide. We are a small company based in Moray, North Scotland, offering environmentally and socially responsible holidays, short breaks, celebrations, team away days and workshops.

From 2005 until 2011, Deborah worked with the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society(WDCS) in their responsible whale watch team. Here she ran the Dolphin Space Programme wildlife tourism partnership (winner of the RSPB 'Nature of Scotland' Marine Award 2012) and the WDCS marine guide training programme. She now runs Wild at Heart holidays, co-manages the Newbold House Wellbeing and Sustainable Living Centre and provides various wildlife and ecotourism training courses and consultancy services. Prior to this she completed a PhD studying sea otters and sustainable tourism in Monterey Bay, California and worked as a wildlife guide on whale watching boats.
